Is the earth's ozone layer able rebuild itself?

maybe, as long as the sun shines. coz O2 splits into O and O in presence of UV rays. & one of these O goes to anothr O2 molecule to form O3. So, i feel if UV is there, ozone layer should be able to rebuild. but i also feel it'll take lots of time. So, if ppl dont disturb that layer for sum more centuries, then evrythng ought to be fine.
