Why did Carly Fiorina LIE about President Obama's position on DOMA and Prop 8?

Come on Lois your an educated woman. It's much easier to tell a lie than it is to refute one once the lie has been uttered. No matter what the facts show. It seems to be the ploy the right seems to be employing with great success. Much like a lawyer that allows an answer to be uttered even though it's not admissible. The judge can tell the jury to disregard but forgetting what has been stated as fact is not easily forgotten.
