What should I say to the CEO of a very small company I am a part of? They have been postponing my check?

Well last week they said the ceo had a family emergency, etc and I went in this week and the boss said the ceo had a bad emergency, nobody can get their money til weds. we were suppose to be paid LAST week. then I went in today and he said the ceo isn't coming til tonight, pick up money tomorrow. like wtf?? family emergency or not, people still need to eat, still got bills to pay, etc I dont want to seem heartless but geez! the boss couldnt sign it off, the ceo has to, but this is a load of bull! what should I say to him tomorrow
