I got a positive on my OPK yesterday & started having ovulation pain this morning,how long does ovulation l?

tested last night for OPK and got a positive result. started having ovulation last last night and into this morning. obviously the OPK is right on and i'm ovulating. when you have ovulation pains, how long do you ovulate for? me and hubby BD yesterday morning and this morning, but how long is the egg down there and fertile???
