Anyone have a strategy behind taking the SAT?

I took the PSAT twice and a week from today I will be taking the SAT. I've also been doing practice questions. I would like to know if anybody knows the key strategy behind scoring a great score instead of just a "good" score. Any information or personal experience you may have would be greatly appreciated!
